Ghazwan Hamdan (Founder & Creative Partner, Maek Design)
For over 20 years, Ghazwan has helped founders turn ideas into brands, products and digital experiences that people genuinely connect with. Having worked with startups from the earliest stages through to established, growing businesses, he understands that founders need more than someone who can make things look good, they need someone they can trust to think, challenge and solve problems alongside them.

Working across brand strategy, identity, websites, apps and digital products, Ghazwan becomes an extension of your team. He works closely with founders to understand the vision, the market and the commercial goals, bringing clarity and creative direction without needing to be micromanaged. His role is to remove work from your plate, not add to it.

Because he isn't caught up in the day-to-day running of the business, Ghazwan is able to bring an objective perspective, identifying opportunities, questioning assumptions and helping founders make better creative decisions. The result is work that isn't just beautifully designed, but strategically thought through and built to help businesses grow.

Alongside running Maek, Ghazwan has also lectured in Graphic Design at universities in both the UK and Dubai, mentoring the next generation of designers while continuing to work hands-on with ambitious founders and growing businesses.
